Fuyao-developed restaurant ‘Taste of the World’ wants to expand beverage options

The restaurant developed by Fuyao Glass America in Moraine is seeking to expand its beverage options.

Online records from the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Liquor Control show that the company that oversees Taste of the World restaurant applied for an alcohol license last week.

Specifically, the restaurant applied for a D-2 license, which would allow it to serve wine and mixed beverages for on-premises consumption or in original sealed containers for carryout until 1 a.m.

Taste of the world opened in November 2017 at Encrete Lane and Fuyao Avenue outside the auto-glass plant in Moraine.

Officials with the auto glass manufacturer said previously that about $1 million would be invested into opening the restaurant.

Fuyao officials said in an invitation for last November’s grand opening that the restaurant brings “unique dining experience at unbeatable prices” and “will also be the meeting place for our friends and employees for many years to come.”
