CareSource’s Life Services division will partner with the Life Enrichment Center to host a job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the center’s location in downtown Dayton at 425 N. Findlay St.

At least 20 employers, representing a wide range of industries, are scheduled to participate in the hiring event, which is free and open to the public.

Last year, CareSource — a downtown Dayton-based private health insurer and Medicaid managed care provider — helped at least 117 Dayton-area residents land jobs through Life Services’ job fairs, according to the company.

“CareSource Life Services is proud to partner with Dayton-area employers and nonprofits to connect individuals with much-needed jobs and resources,” said Karin VanZant, executive director of Life Services at CareSource. “Partnerships like this allow us to help members of our community find stable employment.”

CareSource launched the Life Services program in 2015 to help lift its Medicaid members out of poverty by providing workforce training and support services, such interview preparation, child care and transportation.

In addition, Life Services has also partnered with several community agencies, who will be on hand at the job fair Friday to discuss the services they offer.

Employers scheduled to attend the event include:

* BarryStaff Dayton Public Schools Mentoring Collaborative

* BelFlex DHL Mont. Co. Adult Probation

* Cabela’s Healing Touch Agency LLC Morris Home

* CareSource Manpower PAC Worldwide

* Securitas Spectrum Teleperformance

* Foodbank Victoria’s Secret Direct VRI and Walgreens
