As part of the Activated Spaces program supported by the Downtown Dayton Partnership and UpDayton, Sew Dayton opened in Sept of 2012 and closed in August 2016. The Dayton Daily News wrote about the closure of Sew Dayton in 2016.

“Beavercreek has been an amazing and welcoming community for Needle, Ink and Thread. We are busting at the seams with growth potential and the new location will provide the space we need.
