Dayton area holiday lights, decorations to see

Last week we showed you how Kettering was getting into the festive spirit with impressive light displays.

Of course, the University of Dayton is in the Christmas spirit, while both Beavercreek and Fairborn proved they were not to be outdone in showing they're both ready for the holidays.

There are some great displays in all, to be sure. But we have to make a special mention of a display set to music on Bowman Drive in Fairborn.

It was started in earnest four years ago by two brothers, who have continued to improve it every year. Twice the display has taken first place in Fairborn's lighting contest.

The display is on every night beginning at 5:30 and runs until 11 p.m. through Thursdays. It stays on until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
