Halloween pub crawl Saturday in Hamilton’s German Village

You could call Saturday’s event in Hamilton “the nightcap before Christmas.”

Hamilton's German Village Historic District will hold a Boos and Spirits Pub Crawl from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, featuring some of Hamilton's favorite haunts.

There is no need to sign up in advance. Instead, wristbands will be sold at any of the venues for $10, allowing people to receive free food and discount drinks, said Debby Ripperger of the German Village Association.

“The pub crawls are in the ninth year and are a fundraiser to help with German Village Association events, like our Christmas Walk the 1st Sunday in December,” Ripperger said.

Proceeds go toward German Village events, including the Christmas Walk, which is offered for free.

Get a $10 wristband at any of the participating business: North Second Tap and Bottle Shop, Basil 1791, Fitton Center for Creative Arts, Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton, The Drink Tavern, Neal’s Famous BBQ and Municipal Brew Works.

There will be free food and discount drinks. Costumes are encouraged.

The Tinchers Party Bus, which will shuttle participants among locations, will run from 7 to 11 p.m.
