K99 wins Marconi award as a 2016 ‘Station of the Year’

K99 won a Marconi award tonight as the “2016 Medium Market Station of the Year.”

The winners were announced at the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show, sponsored by HD Radio and held during the 2016 Radio Show in Nashville.

K99.1 FM was up against four other radio stations.

The NAB Marconi Radio Awards were established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi. The prestigious awards recognize station and individuals for excellence and performance in radio, according to the NAB.
