Boykin, who was also known simply as “Black,” starred in “Rob & Big” alongside Dyrdek of Kettering from 2006 to 2008.
He came to the Dayton area with Dyrdek for the show’s third episode, which originally aired on Nov. 16, 2006.

The pair flew into Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and passed Solid Rock Church's infamous Big Butter Jesus (AKA Touchdown Jesus) statue as they drove along Interstate 75 toward Dyrdek's parents home in Kettering.

Below is what the men said as they drove by the “Big Butter Jesus” statue, which was actually named King of Kings.
The controversial statue was destroyed during a lightning storm in 2010. It has since been replaced.

Dyrdek: "I do believe we are about to pass the biggest Jesus Christ in the history of Jesus Christ. Look at this mega..."
Boykin: "Solid Rock Church.
Dyrdek: "Ridiculous."
Boykin: "Wow."
Dyrdek: "This is insane."
Boykin: "That's that real sh%t right there."

The duo also went fishing and visited the DC Shoes/Rob Dyrdek Skate Plaza in Kettering as well as Kings Island while in the area.
Boykin couldn’t fit in The Racer and joked that it was size discrimination.
He and Dyrdek played games, gave away their prizes and took a high flying ride on a bungee jumping-like ride.

They had dinner with Dyrdek's sister Denise and parents, Pat and Gene Dyrdek.

Dyrdek and Boykin had a publicly rocky relationship in recent years, but apparently patched things up.
Dyrdek’s Twitter page is filled with sentiments of love and sorrow for his former TV partner in crime.
