PARTY AT THE NEON
The Neon movie theater, 130 E. 5th St. in downtown Dayton just outside of the Oregon District, will start seating for its annual free viewing party beginning at 7 p.m.
The art house’s party includes a ballot contest and other games.

PARTY AT THE PLAZA
FilmDayton, the Greater Dayton regional film commission, will have its watch party at the Plaza Theatre, 33. S. Main St. in downtown Miamisburg.
The doors open at 6 p.m. for the free event.
The theater’s concession stand will be open and will sell Oscar Bingo Cards for and a raffle to support the works of FilmDayton.

FilmDayton’s online Oscar Prediction contest is now open.
A $20 donation is requested for each ballot. The person who selects the most correct answer will win a 24 inch Samsung Smart Flat screen TV, compatible Blu Ray player and Oscar winning movies, according to a FilmDayton newsletter. The contest closes at the start of the Academy Award Ceremony.
