’90s concert with Vanilla Ice, Salt n Pepa coming to Fraze

A blast from the past, jazz, gospel, rock – take your pick. The Fraze Pavilion announces these additions to their summer musical line-up:

I Love The 90's featuring Salt n Pepa with Spinderella, Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, All-4-One and Young MC comes to the Fraze on Wednesday, June 29, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale April 2 at 9 a.m.

 
Dave Koz & David Sanborn with special guest Jazz Funk Soul will perform Friday, Aug. 5 at 7:30 p.m. An eight-time Grammy nominee, saxophonist Dave Koz is known for his signature smooth jazz sound. David Sanborn is a saxophonist/pianist who plays smooth jazz, rock, funk, R&B and pop. Tickets go on sale April 2 at 9 a.m.


The Nashville-based gospel band Sidewalk Prophets will headline this year's GospelFest on Aug. 28. The group received the Gospel Music Association's Dove Aware for New Artist of the Year in 2010. They take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Free and open to the public, GospelFest starts at 3 p.m., with local and regional group performances preceding Sidewalk Prophets.


O.A.R.(short for Of a Revolution) will perform Friday, Sept. 2, at 7:30 p.m. Formed in Rockville, Maryland, in 1996, O.A.R. has a strong connection to Ohio: Four of the band members – Marc Roberge, Chris Culos, Richard On and Benj Gershman, attended The Ohio State University, where they met saxophonist/guitarist Jerry DePizzo, who is from Youngstown. Tickets go on sale April 2, at 9 a.m.
