The owner of El Meson restaurant, Bill Castro, and his team thrive off traveling to different parts of the world in search of the most authentic and delicious dishes to bring back to the Miami Valley.

They’ve found the perfect four-course meal in South America and are inviting the public to a taste-test on Friday, Nov. 11, from 7 P.M.-9 P.M. at El Meson 903 E Dixie Drive in West Carrollton. They’re calling this taste-testing event, Patagonia.

“Patagonia is a breath-taking region in Argentina and Chile with mountains, deserts and endless stretches of coast. With such rich and varied geography it also has some of the most vibrant tastes in all of South America,” Castro said.

With dishes like Cazuela de Pollo, Empanada de Cordero, Tuna Ceviche, Palta Reina, Congrio and Anticuchos, this will be a great way to experience the ethos of Patagonia. “We will be letting you know all about the marvelous people and places we visited, and you will get to taste what we tasted. This is our passion at El Meson. Sharing culture through sharing dishes,” Castro said.

The cost to attend is $35 or $45 with wine pairings on each course and can be purchased online
