But there is a new drool-worthy treat coming to the 41st annual Troy Strawberry Festival this weekend we just found out about and are pretty excited to try.
Meet the Fudge Puppies.

If the name alone isn’t intriguing, let us tempt you a little more.

Fudge Puppies are a Belgian waffle on a stick with a variety of topping options.

The waffles are first dipped in fudge.

After that you can select your own toppings including whipped cream, caramel, peanut butter, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and of course strawberries.

Where to find this new treat on the block? Visit the Troy High School swim team’s booth all weekend long.

You can find the booth on the levee near the information tent and close to Market Street and the Senior Citizen Center. The cost is $3 if just dipped in fudge, and $4 for additional toppings.
