It’s very clear that both booze and food are very important to Daytonians. But what goes best with what? The AleFest crew have put together an event designed to provide the answers to just such a question.
AleFeast, to be held Feb. 4 at the Dayton Masonic Center in downtown Dayton, will feature more than 75 beer and wine pairings for food from 14 area businesses. Some of the offerings that immediately grab attention from the just-released menu include flatbread topped with carmelized onions, goat cheese and thick-cut bacon from Mudlick Taphouse and Beer Brittle and Dark Sea Salt Caramel from Esther Price.
The relatively new Ojos Locos lager from Lucky Star Brewery and the Fresh Squeezed IPA from Deschutes Brewery are among the intriguing beer options on the event’s lengthy list. More than 20 wines will also be available. You can find the complete menu here.
Tickets are $50 prior to the event or $60 at the door and are limited to 600. They can be purchased here. No one under 21 will be admitted.
