The Wandering Griffin hosted a Harry Potter-themed live trivia night before — complete with butter beer, chocolate frogs and cash prizes for best costumes — in April and it was SO successful that the brewpub is doing it again!

There will be three rounds of the trivia competition, with $10 prizes to the winners of each round and a $25 overall prize, said Brian Young, Wandering Griffin’s co-founder.

In the costume contest, a $25 gift card will be awarded to the best-dressed Harry Potter character, and a $40 gift card to the best-dressed team, Young said.

Because of the event’s popularity, your best bet is to call ahead (937-956-5216) for your team of four or more and make a reservation.

The 10,000-square-foot brewpub, which opened five months ago, is located at the former Quaker Steak & Lube space off Colonel Glenn Highway, across from Wright State University.
