Amazing drone video of Dayton's newest sports facility

Chaminade Julienne High School downtown will open its new two-field sports facility later this month when the high school sports season begins.

It's the first time CJ has had on-campus athletic sports to host events. And it is nifty.

We flew our drone around the facility and dug in deeper to see some of the details that are awaiting visitors. Here are three things to know:

1. There's a stadium and a practice field. They sit near the intersection of Longworth and West Washington streets, to the west of the high school building, at the corner of South Ludlow and Franklin streets. Football, soccer and lacrosse will all be played there.

2. They have beautiful views. See photo for how downtown looks from the area.

3. It's a $6 million complex. It includes the stadium, Eagle Field practice field and a support building to house the locker rooms, restrooms, training room and concessions.
