If you've ever shopped at the Renaissance Festival, you may remember Naturecraft, a bath, body and candle shop featuring products handmade from 100% natural, organic beeswax. Now, you can get Naturecraft's products locally at their new store in the Town & Country shopping center.
The ancient art of making all-natural beeswax candles is something the craftsmen at Naturecraft take very seriously. Their shop is modeled after the chandlers of the Middle Ages, and all of their candles are made from 100% pure beeswax, much of which comes from bee hives they own themselves. The company even makes its own natural wicks using plant fibers, so every part of the candle is handcrafted.
Beeswax candles may cost a little more than their paraffin counterparts but the differences between the two materials is staggering. Beeswax candles don't smoke, drip, soot or send airborne carcinogens into the air of your home like paraffin wax candles are known to do. This makes them the perfect candles for people with asthma, allergies and other respiratory conditions who still love the glow of a beautiful candle.
One of their most popular items is the beeswax lotion bar, which combines other natural, skin-saving ingredients like sweet almond oil, cocoa butter and shea butter with their beeswax to make an extremely moisturizing product. Naturecraft regularly receives high praise from their customers for these lotion bars and it's easy to see why: they're effective, unique and come in a variety of great scents like Vanilla Bean, Pink Sugar and Summer Sangria. If you're looking for a lotion bar with a bit more, try their luxurious body butters. These bars are packed with extra essential oils to help with a variety of skin conditions such as scarring, eczema and signs of aging.
Naturecraft also makes beautiful beeswax soaps that are perfect for gift giving (or just for yourself). They are cut and charged by weight so it's easy to stock up on multiple favorites. Their lip balm is heavenly as well and contains mango butter, beeswax and other natural ingredients that will keep your lips in perfect shape this winter.
Of course, the real star of Naturecraft is the candle. They have several sizes and varieties (more than most other candle shops) so no matter what size or shape you're looking for, they've got you covered. Naturecraft even makes custom candles by request, usually because their customers want a particular color or size. The largest candle they've ever custom made was 590 pounds with 24 wicks, which had to be created using a small plastic kid's pool.
