Local chef scores ‘People’s Choice’ award in statewide competition

A Dayton-area chef has snagged two awards for his mastery of pork at a statewide competition.

The event was the Ohio Pork Council's Taste of Elegance Chefs Competition and Reception that was held earlier this month in downtown Columbus — and which drew more than 200 attendees, including legislators, Ohio Department of Agriculture and Ohio Farm Bureau officials, and representatives from the pork-producing industry.
