According to her care takers, she is offered access to the exhibit for one hour each day and it is up to her whether she wants to go out or not.
"[It] doesn't necessarily mean she is going to be out from 4-6 pm every single day. It depends on her mood and weather."

Fiona has also been sharing the outdoor habitat with her mom, Bibi. This means the path to view the hippos could be closed from time to time, so the two can have privacy to explore.
