2 restaurants that closed last month that we’re REALLY going to miss

November saw a number of announcements of new eateries coming to the area.

Luckily, our list of restaurant openings this past month far exceeds our closings.

Nevertheless, we’re paying homage to the restaurants we’ve lost.

Here are 2 restaurants that closed in November that we’ll miss:

So, there’s some good news and bad news with this announcement. We’ll give you the bad news first:

After a 12-year run for the El Rancho Grande Mexican Grill & Cantina at 7500 Poe Avenue in Vandalia has closed.

Considering its location and iconic exterior, the restaurant was considered high profile.

The good news is that there is a new El Rancho Grande location about a mile-and-a-half away in Huber Heights.

It’s situated just off I-75 on the other side of the interstate from the Miller Lane restaurant row, at 7375 Old Troy Pike (Ohio 202) in Huber Heights.

A locally owned, independent coffee shop that opened just over a year ago has shut its doors for good.

The Flight Line Coffee Company opened Oct. 31, 2016 at 5604 Airway Road in the Page Manor Shopping Center in Riverside. But its owners announced on the coffee shop’s Facebook page that it was forced to shut down last week, on Nov. 19.
