You could be Dayton’s first “Purrista”

Dayton’s very own cat cafe is inching closer to opening ... and you can be part of it.

Gem City Catfe is hiring what they’re calling “purristas” — a combination of barista and cat adoption counselor, in partnership with the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.

The role includes being able to not only make a fabulous cuppa and keep the cafe running smoothly, but also be able to care for and most importantly help find the best homes for the feline onsite residents.

In order to snag this dream job, you have to be at least 18 years old and have two years of experience in food/customer service and/or animal care.
