Measures to help bring more than 100 jobs were approved by Miamisburg City Council on Tuesday night.

Council approved legislation helping to fund the move of a Beavercreek defense contractor to Miamisburg as part of an expansion that includes nearly 70 jobs.

It also signed off on a plan seeking to bring 40 more jobs with the relocation of a Centerville lawn care business.

Cornerstone Research Group is getting Montgomery County and city incentives to move from Indian Ripple Road in Beavercreek Twp., while Miamisburg is proposing a tax credit for Buckeye Eco Care.

The Cornerstone jobs include an average annual salary of more than $80,0000, Miamisburg records show. Buckeye’s average about $45,000 a year.

Cornerstone plans to move the current United Grinding North America site on Earl Boulevard when the company completes a $13 million continental headquarters off Byers Road near the Austin interchange.

Buckeye plans to build a 30,000 square foot building at the intersection of Belvo and Byers roads in the Byers Business Park, records show.
