A new Chinese restaurant called Liu Garden has opened in downtown Dayton.

Downtown’s newest lunch spot is located on the ground floor of the Biltmore Towers at 210 N. Main St., on the corner of First and Main streets. Liu Garden opened its doors last week, employees said today, Feb. 17.

The space previously housed a Chinese buffet restaurant called China Royal, which shut down in 2015 after more than two decades in business after a fire damaged the restaurant’s kitchens.

Like its predecessor, Liu Garden offers an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet on weekdays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. It also offers a Chinese menu of lunch specials in addition to the buffet, and is open for full-service dining until 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until 10 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. It is closed Sunday.

Liu Garden also offers delivery. For more information about the restaurant or to place an order, call (937) 228-6666.
