New restaurant in the works on Wayne Avenue in Dayton

A new restaurant called DT’s Kitchen Carry Out is “coming soon” at 2920 Wayne Ave. near Belmont High School in Dayton, according to a large banner atop the restaurant.

The 2,000-square-foot space previously housed Oaked and Smoked, a deli that specialized in smoked salmon, for about a year until April 2015. The space previously housed New York Pizza and, before that, Tony’s Italian Sausage.

Attempts to reach the owner or owners of DT’s Kitchen were not immediately successful. We’re working to bring you more information about the new restaurant and its projected timeline to open.
