Park City Club restaurant to become ‘Roost American’

The founder of Park City Club adjacent to Fraze Pavilion in Kettering will change the name of the restaurant to “Roost American” effective next week, aligning it with its sister restaurant Roost Modern Italian in Dayton’s Oregon District.

Roost will formally drop the “Modern” from its name and become “Roost Italian” as part of the re-branding effort, Dana Downs, founder of both restaurants, said in a release today, Feb. 6.

Roost Modern Italian was founded more than five years ago. Downs opened Park City Club in December 2015.

“The restaurant industry is ever changing” Downs said in a release. “With two restaurants, we can internally compare

our results restaurant-to-restaurant to help us deliver a better product with even greater service.”

Downs said bringing together both restaurants under the brand for which she is most well-known made sense, and the change will help diners know what to expect when visiting each restaurant.
