Miami Twp. Fire District crews were dispatched to the Wendy’s just after 8 p.m. on June 12. There were no injuries reported, and the employees were able to get out of the building, a fire official said.

Damage to the wall and floor were considered minimal, the fire official said. The floor was damaged when the remains of the melted thermostat began to drip.
