The season for bean sprouts and strawberry salads has passed. (Sorry, bean sprouts and strawberry salads.)

Fall is all about comfort food.

One Dayton area restaurant serves just that by the tray, and you can eat to your heart's content.

Rob's Hot Bar at Rob's Restaurant features home-style grub that will have you thinking about chilling in front of the family hearth.

The restaurant can also has a full menu featuring sandwiches, Italian favorites like pizza, baked lasagna, and manicotti; and a list of dinners that include fried, grilled and charbroiled chicken and chopped sirloin steak. There was a full salad bar with an assortment of veggies and pasta salads.

And let's not forget the desserts.
