New restaurants open in Riverside

For those of you who love to eat your way through the region, we've got a two-fer.

According to Mark Fisher at the Dayton Daily News, two new restaurants are now open in Riverside, and one more is coming soon.

Song's Sushi Korean & Japanese Cuisine
5516 Airway Rd.
Open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday

Owned by Song Amburn and Sun Reed, it offers Korean dishes like Bibimbap and Bulgogi, Japanese dishes such as Udon noodle entrees and hibachi chicken, sushi, and more than a dozen bento-box meals at lunch. They plan to add Sunday hours in March.

Smokin' Aces Bar & Grill
4317 Linden Ave.

Enjoy live music and a menu with burgers, wings, ribs and traditional bar food at this new spot, which previously housed the Filling Station Sports Bar & Grill. Co-owner Andrew Engler said the restaurant is open seven nights a week, and that they plan to be open for lunch by spring.

Airway Kitchen (coming soon!)

Owned by the same family that operates Dayton's Starlite Diner, the restaurant plans to open this spring in the former Ponderosa steakhouse building. Hasan Kilic, Starlite Diner's owner, said that the menu will include Greek dishes and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
