It is the chain’s third Columbus-area restaurant. Fusian also operates two Dayton-area locations, near the University of Dayton campus (2011) and in Washington Twp. adjacent to Whole Foods (2015), and three Cincinnati-area locations.
Fusian Sushi was launched in Cincinnati in 2010 by Zach and Josh Weprin and Stephan Harman, who attended Oakwood’s Harman Elementary School and “always talked about going into business together,” Stephan Harman told this news outlet in 2011.
After a relatively deliberate approach to growing the chain in its first five years, the trio is doubling the number of locations in a two-year period and is poised to expand into new markets in Cleveland and Toledo, the co-founders said last month.
