You all really know your brunch! When we gave you our list of the 9 best brunch spots in Dayton, you quickly set us straight with the ones we neglected on the list. Who’d have thought that we would have so many restaurants with delicious weekend brunch grub in such a small radius? This list stretches a little further out into the Greater Miami Valley, proving that no matter where you live in the area, you have access to a glorious weekend brunch.

Lobster scrambled eggs. We repeat: lobster scrambled eggs. Admittedly, there’s a whole host of other delicious items on their menu, but we just keep going back to the sweet lobster meat, red onion and bacon-packed egg deliciousness. In the winter, savor their hearty and heart-warming oatmeal.

Brunch for a cause: When you eat at One Bistro, you’re supporting a business that keeps its prices low for its less fortunate or low-income community members, who can pay what they can afford even if they can’t foot the whole bill. Make some new friends, feel good about eating out while you indulge in some spinach, bacon and feta Eggs Benedict.

  • Emporium Wines and the Underdog Café

Emporium and the Underdog Café practically has everything you need to live in their restaurant full time, from a well-stocked library, to ample seating space, to a full wine store. And on an overcast weekend morning, grabbing a cappucino with a farm-fresh frittata or home-baked scones and curling up with Tess of the D’Urbervilles or engaging in conscientious discussions with friends is a real highlight of the weekend.

The Breakfast Sandwich at Savory Skillet in Spring Valley

    3291 Old U.S. 42, Spring Valley. (937) 862-3001. Find them on Facebook.

A little bit off the beaten path in Spring Valley, this skillet earns its name with hearty breakfast sandwiches and delicious French Toast combinations: we opt for the stuffed Peanut Butter and Jelly or the raisin bread filled wih cream cheese, banana and blueberries. And definitely save room for the salmon croquettes.

  • Chappys Tap Room and Grille

Chappys opened up for brunch last March with a small but savory menu, and boy, are we glad they did. If you can’t decide between their three brunch entrees — though the “Big A** Beer Biscuit Bowl” is a particular treat — create your own brunch and mix n’ match. Their chicken and waffles (as reviewed by our friend Stephanie Precht) are also available on the dinner menu, so brunch all day every day if you like!
