Celebrating 25 Years of Legbone!

Rock fans will be loving this weekend's line-up! Tons of great shows from fantastic solo sets, album release parties, to the 25th Anniversary of punk band Legbone. Keep reading to find out where all the fun is!

Friday December 2nd

The two-piece experimental rock group Future Modern performs with special guests The Tigerlilies at Trolley Stop on Friday night. Alternative rock fans will enjoy this show! 9:30pm. $5 cover. 21+

Blind Bob's has an unusually funky night in store with Dayton locals Eyes Front, Krunk Town Boogie, and Cincinnati's own funk rock powerhouse Founding Fathers. This will be a fun dance night, so get ready to boogie down! 9pm. $5 cover. 21+

Oscar's in Vandalia has another fantastic night of live rock music featuring Motel Faces, Seth Canan & The Carriers and Bribing Senators. 9pm. $5 cover.

South of town, at the Old Crow Bar in Middletown, you have the unique opportunity to see live music and get Christmas shopping done! Multiple vendors will be at the show, plus Essential Productions gave us 2 tickets to give away for their Dopapod NYE show! Nice! Check out Zane and The Sway starting at 8:30pm, followed by Eyeris Wide, and Arrows of Neon. $8 cover.

Saturday December 3rd

Lots happening Saturday night, including a very special show at Oddbody's Music Room: Legbone's 25th Anniversary Show. It's true! The Dayton punk legends are celebrating this special anniversary with special guests MOBILE DEATHCAMPDuderusThrottle, 53rd and 3rd, and Scull Soup. 18+ w/ ID. $10 admission. Doors 7pm. Show 7:30pm.

Another popular rock show will certainly be Neon WarshipBison Machine, and

Grand Mammoth at Blind Bob's. Grand Mammoth is also releasing their album as well, so make sure you pick that up while you're there! 9pm. $5 cover. 21+

Common Center, from Covington, are coming up for a fantastic show at Trolley Stop. Self described as "psychedelic gypsy rock soulclad boogie funk" - they are certainly going to be bring the funk and the fun! 9pm. $5 cover. 21+

Feeling a bit wild? Check out the debut of Radar, and Dayton's lucha rock group Team Void at Oregon Express. 9pm. $5 cover. 21+

A fun night of rockabilly can be had with Cherry Lee and the Hot Rod Hounds and special guests Achilles Tenderloin at Tumbleweed Connection. Such a fun venue for this style of music. Enjoy! 9pm. $5 cover. 21+

The Dayton Blues Society presents their annual Christmas Party at the Phone Booth in Kettering, featuring Johnny Fink & The Intrusion, Dan Holt, and the Joe Tellmann Band. The evening ends with open blues jam at 9:30pm! Love those! Music starts at 7pm.

Sunday December 4th

If you're looking for something Christmasy to do, check out the Sweet Sounds of the Holidays from Bach Society 7:30-9pm on Sunday. This concert savors the sounds of guitar virtuoso Jim McCutcheon, the angelic voices of Kettering Children's Choir Chorale, and the melodic bells of Kettering Advent Ringers. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for active military, $10 for students, and free for children 12 and under. Tickets are ordered by phone at 937-294-2224, ordered online via the Bach Society website, or purchased at the ticket counter the day of the concert.
