Hey music fans! Thanks for checking back once again to see where the fun shows are this week. Lots of great "don't miss" fall shows this weekend!

Friday October 20th

The last Yellow Cab Food Truck Rally of the season at The "Old" Yellow Cab building  is this Friday! If you miss it, you'll have to wait until March to get your gourmet street food fill. Stop by for food trucks, Night Market, free live music, local craft brews and tons of fun for the whole family. Free entry. 5-10pm

Super fun early show from 7-8 at  Omega MusicThey are celebrating  Buffalo Killers'  new album, Alive and Well in Ohio, with an in-store performance! They'll have plenty of copies of their new album for sale on CD and LP.  Don't miss this super special show! Kid friendly.

This going to be a lovely night! 9pm-12am

Jam band fans will have big smiles over at Hannah's on Ludlow, with local band Cheezcake (on a midnight). These guys are truly special musicians, so if you're looking for fun music to dance to and challenge your ears, make sure you stop by!  Electric Orange Peel  (10:30pm) and Tony Herdman (9:30pm) are also on the line-up - sweet! 9pm-2am. Presale $10. Day of show $12

Punk rock fans, don't miss  The Raging Nathans, Sok, Slur, and  GOON. Going to be a ragin' time for sure! 9pm $5 cover.

Another great show is over at Trolley Stop. Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Miller and The Other Sinners brings a fresh blend of roots music, southern soul, blues, rock and r&b, that will move you. 9:30pm-1:30am. 21+ $5 cover.

If you've ever wanted to check out opera, The Consul, might be just the one to try first. It's not your typical opera! It's a timely storyline following political dissident John Sorel. Set in a large central European city in the present, Gian Carlo Menotti's first full-length opera played Broadway for eight months, winning both the 1950 Pulitzer Prize for Music and the 1950 New York Drama Critics' Circle award for Best Musical. Check out your own Dayton OperaShow 8pm or 3pm Sunday.

Saturday October 21st

Looking for a Halloween musical event for the kids? Head over to Schuster Center for PhilharMonster , an afternoon of eerie tunes for kid in all of us! The Dayton Philharmonic 's spooky tradition is also a fun way to teach kids about music. 2pm Pre-concert fun in the Wintergarden. 3pm Show starts. All ages!

It's gonna be a funky time and a costume contest, so get creative!

More fun! Check out the funky and fabulous crew of Freakquency at South Park Tavern from 10pm-12am. Get in on the amazing pizza, and jam out? Sounds like a great date night to me! Plus it's free and all ages welcome!
