If you're planning an early evening, I encourage you to check out Todd the Fox at Wandering Griffin, out near Wright State. It's a new brew pub off Colonel Glenn Hwy, right off I-675. Super easy drive, great music and delicious beer on tap. Add fantastic tunes from Todd the Fox, and I'd say that's an ideal evening out! Music 8-10pm.
New band Rite of Venus encourages you to throw out your smart TV, because the music will not be televised. Ha! I love encouragement in that direction. on Saturday night. This band is a super-group of sorts, featuring some of my favorite Dayton musicians, who perform original piano-driven rock that's perfect for a variety of audiences. Great for groups heading out and want to listen to music that's mutually enjoyed! 9:30pm. $5 cover. 21+
