While the Dayton music community still mourns and recovers from the loss of Canal Street owner Mick Montgomery, another reminder of him occurs this weekend. Mick had been working on bringing back his beloved Original Musician's Co-Op as a free First Friday treat, the first of which to occur this Friday.

Mick had wanted his peer and fellow musician Sharon Lane to host the event in case he could not attend. In that spirit, Sharon will keep this Dayton music tradition going every First Friday at Hannah's (located downtown on Ludlow near the Arts Garage). What a wonderful way to keep Mick's spirit alive!

Keep reading to find out more about the return of The Original  Musician's Co-Op and all the other yummy events happening this weekend!
