One evening a couple years back, I randomly wandered in to Blind Bob's to find the most fantastic music playing. Unfortunately I only caught the last couple songs, but I was thrilled to see The Woggles are back at Bob's Friday night! This Beatles-esque band is performing with local acts Manray and The Zygotes, along with special guests Fantastic Plastics , from NYC. Super fun! Do not miss! $7 cover. 9pm. 21+

An exciting new group on my radar is Dayton Funk Forever, a 7 piece band paying tribute to Funk music, especially Dayton's legendary funk history. I love this! Catch them 9:30pm-12:30am at Jimmie's Ladder 11.

At Riverscape MetroPark , join WYSO Public Radio, in partnership with local peace organizations, for a day of music and community. From 4-6 pm it's the Miami Valley Peacebuilders Walk. From 6-9 pm it's the WYSO Community Concert . This free, family-friendly concert will be headlined by Cincinnati's fabulous The Almighty Get Down. Other acts include Dayton's own Zane and the Sway and the demented piano-blues-meets-rockabilly sounds of The Claudettes from Chicago. Weather Dependent. 4-9pm. All ages. Free!
And as always, thank you for supporting live music!
