Not familiar with these bands? Don't worry! Check out the December edition of "Guided by Noises" which features the bands performing at HoliDayton.
More of a jam band fan? Then head over to The Canal Public House where they will be funking it up all night long to celebrate Boxing Day! The Big Damn Boxing Day Jam includes special guests Chris Houser (from The Werks), Ronald Frost (Peanut) and others to be announced. Doors 8 p.m. Music starts at 9:30 p.m. $5 at the door.

Bluegrass and folk fans, do not miss Blue Moon Soup’s Fourth Annual Snowflake Soiree from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. at The Glen Helen Building (405 Corry St., Yellow Springs). This quartet is a rising star regionally, and for good reason. They are able to take their traditional, bluegrass, psychedelic and Celtic influences, and blend them into something entirely original. Looking forward to more of their originality, as this event also doubles as an album release celebration for their newest project “Luna.” $10 at the door. 18+.

As always, thank you for supporting the live music scene in Dayton.
