Today we are a divided nation, torn apart by ideological differences that appear impossible to reconcile. My hope is that through the power of music and art, we can bridge the divide we all feel.

One amazing way to do just that is by attending the Lift Ev'ry Voice concert presented by the Dayton Philharmonic this Sunday at the Schuster Center. Every seat in the house is just $10, and is a gesture to the community to come together as one. It's an inspirational concert you won't want to miss!

Find out more about that concert, and the rest of the line up this weekend. Truly some amazing shows! We have decent weather and lots of shows with no cover charges, so please get out there and support our local musicians! I promise it will lift your spirit!

Sunday January 22nd

The aforementioned Lift Ev'ry Voice is happening on Sunday at 3pm. This is a musical celebration of the human spirit! This concert marks  10 years of Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra's acclaimed Stained Glass Community Engagement Concert Series. Church choirs from congregations that have hosted the Stained Glass series over the years will join the DPO for a glorious afternoon of uplifting music.

The first half of the program, the DPO will dazzle with Beethoven's iconic Fifth Symphony, described by E. M. Forster as "the most sublime noise that has ever penetrated into the ear of man." After a brief intermission, the second half of the program will be bursting with rousing works for chorus. ALL tickets - every single seat - are just $10. Very affordable! 3pm at the Schuster Center.

As always, thank you for supporting live music!
