A panel of judges (this blogger included) voted Amber Brady of Lily's Bistro in the Oregon District "best" in the Miami Valley Restaurant Association's Battle of the Bartenders tonight.

Nibble's Restaurant of Miamisburg grabbed second place and third place went to Figlio's in Kettering.

The Dock of Enon won best pairing and El Meson won best presentation.

That West Carrollton eatery also won the people's choice for its visually striking Kiwi-infused vodka concoction.

Coco's Bistro in South Park won over the city before the event even started. Its barkeep Nikolas Hunt received 1,834 votes, nearly 32 percent of the total, in our pre-battle poll.
