A Dayton gem's flawless face might appear on your television screen next to Kelly Ripa.
Entertainment Tonight is reporting that Rob Lowe is a front-runner to permanently co-host Live! with Ripa and is in talks with ABC.
The show caught up with the actor on the set of his upcoming movie How to Be a Latin Lover.
"I hosted it with Kelly and had the time of my life," the 52-year-old told ET. "I love her ... I love being able to talk to an audience every morning like that and just being fun, counter-punching, being silly, and talking about cool stuff."
Michael Strahan said in April that he would be departing from Live!" this September for a full-time position with "Good Morning America."
ET says ABC talked to Lowe about co-hosting the show back in 2012 to replace Regis Philbin.
Rob Lowe is the son of local attorney Chuck Lowe.
Rob was born during his father's last year of law school at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
The family moved to Dayton when Rob was just three months old, raising him in the city and surrounding areas.
He attended Longfellow School in Dayton as well as Oakwood Junior High School before moving to Malibu, Calif., with his mother and brother, actor and director Chad Lowe.
