Does K99's Nancy Wilson have CMA predictions right?

The CMAs are the Oscars of country music and K99.1 FM's Breakfast Club co-host Nancy Wilson has her picks.

Dayton's very own county music industry insider and Country Music Association voter rattled them off for me in short order. Check out her picks below and make your own.

K99 was nominated for the 2015 medium market Station of the Year.

Nancy's co-host Frye Guy is working Music Row in Nashville. The 49th Annual CMA Awards air at 8 p.m. Wednesday on ABC.

Nancy's pick: Luke Bryan

Why: "He's this generation's Garth Brooks and this generation's Kenny Chesney," Nancy told me. "Not only is he a super entertaining guy, he makes sure that when you are at his show, you feel like you are the only one in the audience."

Nancy's pick: Carrie Underwood

Why: "When she put out "Something in the Water", it just blew everybody away. It had religious undertones, but it didn't bother anybody. They just wanted their Carrie back," Nancy said. "'Storyteller is more country than she's even been. Miranda had an off year, but who can blame her."

Best dressed?

Nancy's pick: Carrie Underwood

Why: "She is always so amazingly dressed," Nancy said. "But Miranda (Blake Shelton's ex) might be like 'look what you don't have no more'."

Nancy's pick: Luke Bryan

Why:  "I just think it is Luke's year and Blake has won it a million times," Nancy said. "I voted for Dierks. I love him, what can I say?"

Nancy's pick: Florida Georgia Line

"Why: "That's like a slam dunk. That's going to be Florida Georgia Line," she said.

Nancy's pick: Sam Hunt

Why: "Straight out of the box, his first single went to No. 1," Nancy said. "He can't do any wrong."
