Here is more info from a press release:

"Soft Rock 92.9 will continue to play many artists from Fly 92.9's decades spanning library from the 70s and 80's through today. Listeners can expect to hear artists such as The Eagles, Kelly Clarkson, John Mellencamp, Maroon 5, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John and Madonna. The station also promises 'more music, less talk.'"

Fly 92.9's tagline was "we play anything."

Current on-air host Dan Edwards and Danielle will be joined by Dayton radio veteran Paul Ellis starting Monday.

The decision to change was based on research that pointed to an "overwhelming appetite for

the great Soft Rock songs from the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s" in Dayton, according to info the station provided.

The station is heavily targeting women ages 35 to 54.

"Soft Rock 92.9 is about variety and fun," program director Brad Waldo said in a press release. "Whether you're listening at work, at home or in your car, we want to create the perfect music mix for our listeners."
