You know how when you look at someone and know you recognize them, but can't remember how?

That's what happen to me in the case of new E! News correspondent Zuri Hall.

It took a Cleveland Plain Dealer profile piece on Hall to help me put it all together.

The Toledo native and Ohio State University grad is the same Zuri Hall that co-hosted WDTN's Living Dayton back in 2012.

Here is what WDTN said about her in a press release:

"Zuri Hall is a Toledo, Ohio native. She's a graduate of The Ohio State University, so don't be surprised if she proudly wears the 'scarlet and gray.' The Emmy-award winning host comes to Living Dayton from MyWNDY-TV in Indianapolis where she beat out hundreds to become the next Face of WNDY-TV. You might recognize Zuri from her commercial work. She's featured in spots for Value City Furniture, Safe Auto and Meijer among many. Zuri is a big fan of acting, music and writing. She's excited to be back in the state of Ohio."

Hall was one of three corespondents E! announced July when Maria Menounos replaced Giuliana Rancic as co-anchor.

"Our leaders have a really cool, exciting vision for how they want to push 'E! News' into this new era of digital reigning supreme," the 27-year-old told the Plain Dealer. "We definitely have some fun new plans in store. I'm excited to see how it all manifests."

Way to go, Toledo.
