OU's legendary Burrito Buggy coming to Dayton, prepare yourself

The Burrito Buggy is coming. The Burrito Buggy is coming.

If you're an OU Bobcat or know a Bobcat very well, you realize just how important this announcement is to the history of people kind.

The Dayton Beer Company, 41 Madison St. in Dayton, will host the  Greater Dayton Chapter Ohio University Alumni Association "Athens Invasion in Dayton"  Tuesday, Nov. 10.

On this day, Ohio will take on Kent State in the sport of football... blah, blah, blah.

More importantly, food will be sold from the Burrito Buggy food truck.

Food service will start between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. depending on traffic and other factors.

The The Drunken Waffle of Dayton will be there too, but more on the Burrito Buggy...

It has been an OU institution since 1984 and was famous for slining the most delicious foil-wrapped burritos long before anyone was talking about food trucks, or even Chipotle or Hot Head for that matter.

Swarms of Bobcats — myself included— have chowed down on the Burrito Buggy's manna from heaven-like creations at all hours uptown near the corners of Union and Court streets in Athens for decades. It's an Athens tradition.

Trust us, this is the day's most important news.
