Community, business leaders meet to discuss Dayton region’s progress

The Dayton Development Coalition’s annual meeting is bringing the city’s business and community leaders together to discuss the region’s progress.

The Dayton Development Coalition and its board of trustees are hosting its annual meeting and 2017 economic review at the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center. Networking and registration began at 3 p.m., with the main program following at 5 p.m. and a reception at 6 p.m.

The Dayton Development Coalition’s 2017 annual meeting is also featuring a panel that includes an Air Force general as well as a bio-science executive and entrepreneur, among others. The panel includes: U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Mark Koeniger, commander of the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The wing researches human performance and integration for air, space, and cyberspace needs.

The coalition, an arm of JobsOhio, the state’s private economic development corporation, represents 14 Western Ohio counties.
