The $450,000 contract is part of Ford’s $900 million, multi-year renovation program to its plant, Shook said in a release Thursday.
Shook has worked at the plant for seven years, performing over 200 individual task orders each ranging from $50,000 to $7 million, the company said.
“It is because of this history at the plant, combined with more recent work at other car manufacturing facilities, that Shook was able to develop a competitive price package to win this contract,” Shook said.
Ford’s investment will include removing old machinery, installing new equipment and other work to support equipment upgrades.
With 250 employees, Shook serves clients in 13 states from offices in Dayton, Cleveland, Indianapolis and Raleigh-Durham, N.C.
