Enon-based Speedway will hire more than 100 workers at locations across Ohio.
The company is mostly looking to hire entry-level positions, including shift leader trainees and co-manager trainees. Speedway is also looking for positions like customer service representatives and food service specialists, among other positions.
The gas station and convenience store chain will host job fairs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Speedway stores throughout Western Ohio, including Springfield, Urbana, Beavercreek, North Dayton and Troy, among other locations. Job seekers can apply in person, or online at speedway.com.
Speedway had previously completed a $2.8 billion acquisition of Hess Retail, an East Coast convenience store chain. The deal roughly doubled the size of the Speedway chain, making it the largest company-owned convenience store chain in the U.S. based on revenue.
It is one of the biggest employers in Clark County. Speedway had already employed about 800 workers at its Enon headquarters before the Hess acquisition, but promised to add an additional 350 corporate jobs over three years as part of the deal.
