Pat Gilligan, owner of the Dunkin’ Donuts franchise rights in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas, opened several of the doughnut shops locally in recent years, including the one off East Stroop Road. That shop opened in 2014.

GOC Realco has also recently sold sites in Riverside and Centerville.

Prior to the March 2014 opening of the Centerville location, the chain’s sole Dayton-area Dunkin Donuts was off Ohio 741 in Miami Twp. just north of the Dayton Mall, the Dayton Daily News reported in 2014.
