Angelina Jolie reportedly in talks for Marvel debut with ‘Eternals’

Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie is no stranger to action flicks. It’s hard to forget her turn in the “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” movies of the early 2000s that jolted her career into the stratosphere.

Now Jolie is in talks to star in the Marvel Studios production of "The Eternals," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"The Eternals," is described by Gizmodo as "a quirky 70s group of characters created by the legendary Jack Kirby," and by THR as "a superhero team adventure," which will be directed by Chloe Zhao.

Jolie is currently finishing up work on Disney’s “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil,” which is set for release this fall. She’s also working on the live-action hybrid “The One and Only Ivan.”
