Dre's post was in reference to the college admissions cheating scandal in which actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin face charges as part of a large-scale college admissions bribery scheme. The actors are among 50 people facing charges. Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, are accused of paying $500,000 to have their daughters designated as recruits for USC's crew team.
In 2013, the record producer and former NWA member, along with producer Jimmy Iovine, gave $70 million to USC to create an academy.
The gift was to the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation, which offers minors, a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees.
