Nicki Minaj helps pay off Wright State student’s loan debt today on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

Here’s one thing you may not know about Nicki Minaj. The hip-hop superstar has been changing her fans’ lives for the past year.

For the season 16 premier, Minaj teamed up with Ellen DeGeneres and Walmart to gift three of her fans $50,000 each to pay off their student loan debt for the Season 16 premiere of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” airing today on WHIO-TV at 4 p.m.

One of the students, Chrissy Draper, hails from Dayton. She is a med student at Wright State’s Boonshoft School of Medicine.
