Fogelman started the event, jokingly welcoming the audience to "the Mandy Moore roast."
Variety reported that Moore's "A Walk to Remember" co-star Shane West surprised her when he shared an old photo of the pair after they wrapped the 2002 teen romance film. He also gave a heartfelt speech at the Monday ceremony in Los Angeles.

“Not only was this film a wonderful experience in every way, it gave me the chance to fall for this fantastic woman,” West said. “Mandy, you are an absolute gem, your smile is absolutely ridiculous -- seriously, it's ridiculous, and it lights up the room when you walk in -- your energy is irresistible, and your heart is second to none.”
West and Moore played love interests in the film, which was directed by Adam Shankman, who was also at the event.
Moore tweeted a thank you to West after the ceremony, writing, "Stars have always sort of been our thing. Thankful to @shanewest for his kind words on this very special day, one which I will never forget. It was a walk (of fame) to remember."
Moore also thanked her personal team, friends, family and husband, singer Taylor Goldsmith, who were all in attendance.
