Kettering native Holly Gyenes has been hired by Disney as an original cast member for its new a cappella concert tour experience.
Gyenes graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School in 2013. She was a member of the award-winning a cappella group, Eleventh Hour. Eleventh Hour made national headlines when it was the youngest group to appear on "The Sing-Off" back in 2010.

In 2015, Gyenes was heard as a background singer on the self-titled album from three-time Grammy award-winning a cappella group Pentatonix.

About D Cappella: To qualify, Gyenes was required to submit a video recording of two audition pieces — one pop song and one Disney cover. After Disney reviewed her submission, she was selected for the lineup.

Deke Sharon, considered the “Godfather of Contemporary A Cappella” was called on to help form the group.
